7 Kid Friendly Paleo Freezer Meals You Can Make in Two Hours

Hey guys!

How is your week going? My house has been insanely loud and crazy as usual:) This season has been filled with a lot of sickness for my boys. We are normally a pretty healthy household, and I attribute a lot of that to the way we live. After this particularly rough season, however, I decided we needed to make some changes.

A few years ago, when I switched to the paleo lifestyle, I slowly began to transition my family. After a few months of following this lifestyle, the house stopped getting sick. In fact, we went almost a full TWO years without so much as a sniffle!!! Now, I’m definitely not making the claim that eating paleo alone is what did this, but I am saying it did not hurt!! Last year, after Nash was born, I began to slack on what I fed my boys. They still ate gluten free, but I allowed more and more sugar, grains, and just processed junk back into their diets. I was busy attending to a new little guy, and decided to give myself a little grace in the paleo department with my kids. (Insert Mom guilt here;)

Fast forward to today, and I think it is time to place a bit more effort on what they are putting into their bodies. I didn’t wan’t my kids to feel like I was taking anything from them, so I decided to do a little freezer meal session for them. I made 7 kid friendly paleo freezer meals in less than two hours!

Want to know my biggest SECRET to making so many meals so quickly?! Double your recipes!!! It’s the easiest way to get more food in less time, which means, you have more time to do what you really want to do!!

Paleo Chicken Tenders are stupid good!

Now if you are really good in math, you may be wondering why I claim to have doubled all my recipes, and ended up with an odd number! Well, the bread recipe is not as efficient, because baking just takes more time. Due to my limited time cap of one nap, I decided to start the bread recipe first, and then make a double batch of the other recipes while the bread was baking. This system of starting my one baked item in the oven before prepping the rest of the freezer meals has really helped me streamline my meal prep process. Here are the 7 kid friendly paleo freezer meals I made:

  1. Danielle Walker’s World Famous Paleo Sandwich Bread
  2. 2x Meatloaf (our family’s special recipe tweaked to become paleo)
  3. 2x Danielle Walker’s Kid’s Paleo Chicken Tenders
  4. 2x Easy Whole 30 Turkey Meatballs
These meatballs will make your whole house smell like a romantic Italian cafe!

I used online shopping to purchase all of my ingredients the day before, and was able to complete all these meals within one nap time! It is so handy to have these frozen foods ready to go for the kids when we have babysitters, unexpected crazy nights, or even if I just don’t feel like cooking!!

If your new to freezer meal cooking, and feel intimidated by the process, try just cooking a double batch of one of the above meals. Freeze one half for the future, and serve the other half for dinner! It’s a win-win, and I promise you will thank yourself when chaos hits, as it always does! It is such a relief to just open the freezer, and serve yourself and your family delicious paleo meals with ZERO effort!!

Happy Kid Freezer Meal Prep Guys!
